Trophy of FMAI The Mediterranean Federation of Internet Associations has decided to set up a trophy to be offered each year to a high personality in recognition of his/her efforts in spreading the digital culture and his/her contribution to building the Mediterranean digital space.
 Trophy of FMAI First edition The first edition of this trophy was awarded to His Excellency Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, President of the Republic of Tunisia for his efforts in popularizing the use of ICT among all Tunisian citizens without any distinction (example: the family’s PC ), and for his initiative in 1998 to propose the holding of a World Summit on the Information Society whose second phase was organized in 2005 with great success in Tunis.
